“I booked four rooms for family staying in Silver City during graduation. All rooms were dirty and very dated, but mine was the worse. The bathroom was filthy with urine stains on the floor, pubic hairs on the walls and in the shower, and yellow grime on the bathtub. There were also 2 dead roaches in the room and it had not been vacuumed. Bed was incredibly old and very hard. I asked for a new room but they would not accommodate my request and on a busy weekend, there were no other hotels...

“While the room was clean, there was a smell of musk in the bathroom. I had to buy air freshener to get ride of it. The entire building overall had a stench. The remote was sticky to the touch. Breakfast was convenient, however, it was not up to par. The hash brown seemed to have been left sitting in grease to long and were extremely soft. The hot tub was okay. Overall, the hotel was peaceful and the staff was great.”

“Very unique and historical hotel. Located in the middle of the historic district. Good restaurants close by. All parking was on street.”

“The property was really pretty and the cabin was spacious. The carpet didn't look very clean though and the ac window unit in the bedroom was really loud all night. The porch on the front was nice but the one upstairs was too small. The beds were really small too and not very comfortable. It was nice but it seems a little too outdated and for something more rustic it would be ok.”

“The room was perfect super clean, spotless and the bed very comfy and free odor! Felt like sleep at home. Floor & carpet is felt clean and fresh. Travel with dog, there is grassy area and doggy bag for dog doing their business. We also diapered our dog while in the room to avoid any accident. 🐾 Hilton always on top of their cleanliness. Thank you.”

“I arrived to my room to only be told that there was no room available but I had booked it in advance. The room they placed me initially was not ready and I was placed in a different hotel room that had no trash cans, sink drained extremely slow, no shower curtain, roaches and the shower knob. flew off when I tried showering. The towels I was given was dirty, sheets where stained and the door frame was damaged to the point I was not comfortable in the room. Overall the stay was not a good...

“Amenities were as described and host was most gracious. The in residence dog, Blue, was a friendly addition to our stay of 3 nights. Relaxing soak in hot tub and hummingbirds were a daily treat. Would highly recommend this location as the retreat it promises and we will stay again when back in Silver City area.”

“Overall, we really enjoyed the stay and would stay there again. Two minor concerns: There are several dogs in the area, and their barking can be an annoyance until the quiet down later in the evening. Use of the kitchen is limited by the fact you can only operate one electrical appliance at time. The cook top is a hot plate and there are a toaster oven and a microwave, so you have plan out the sequence you cook your food if you want to pan fry, bake and warm up something for a meal.”
